only 15 months and started potty training already...
not afraid of the toilet...
knowing how to go #1 and #2 in the toilet... and knowing what to do with toilet paper already.

16 month old came up and looked in my eyes... put her finger on her mouth and said..... shhhhhhh shhhhhh

so the other day... daughter and had a convo... (not bragging today)

worried about her when she transfers college far away from me.  worried that i would have to travel 4 hours just to see her if she should get sick.   knock on wood.   

 we talked about all sorts of stuffs.  she was very excited about transfering... etc.  then i said... well... whatever happens... i hope you get married by by 26 or 28.  then i started lecturing her about what type of guy she should marry and what age he should be... and that she should not marry anyone over 30... because men over 30 are too set in their ways to compromise and grow with her. 

now thinking back to our convo.... i just hope i didn't send the wrong message.  sighs.

so a while back daughter was complaining... . about how when guys hit on her they
always tend to ask the same question

her:  they are always asking me what type of asain   i am.  next time i am gonna ask them what type of european are you. 

then we get into this entire discussion where she argued that she has never been to asia.  and that she is an american.... not asain.

i must say.. she really openned my eyes that she is not asian nor asian american but just american.  i've learned so much from this 17 year old.

something that happenned a few weeks ago.

daughter and i were shopping at walmart.  we were walking the ilses looking for our items.... then as we walked into the last ilse there was  a young man standing at the end of the ilse.  he kept looking at us... then at the self... as we walked closer and closer.... he started to blush...  as we got closer he blushed more... then when we were only a few steps away from him... he quickly grabbed his item on the self and ran off.   

weird how he would blush and run off like that as we approached him.   then we finally realize why he was soooo  ..... heheheh


he was there for condoms.

I love dropping kids off at school.   So much quality time well spent....talki ng about their school and friends... Who they like or dislike.

Son:mom I only like white girls
Me: is it really your choice?


Daughter:  I'm practically 18... I can start talking to older men.
Me:  you are well rounded and uptodate with current events so I'm sure you will be able to hold any conversation with any man of any age and they won't get bored conversing with you. 

Other son: mom can you watch me from here?
Me:  I'll be right here baby.  I love you.  Have a great day.

17 months and already peeing and pooing in toilet.  mommy is so proud of you baby.

When they were younger...in their rugrat years....I felt so ever so smart....teach ing them how to read and write...the ways of the world.....

Now that they are older...I'm finding that the tables have turned....they are the ones teaching me new vocabularies, concepts, and ideas about the world around me.  Showing me how society really is from their perspectives. 

How not so smart I was then nor now. I am glad I have them....to point me in the right direction now.

daughter:  mom... i know what my plan b is now.
me: what?
daughter:  if all else fails... i can just become a Phone Entertainer.
me:  what's that?
daughter:  phone sex operator. 
me:  really?
daughter:  did you know they make 2K a week? 
me:  where did you get this information from?
daughter: last night's episode of Family Guy... made me curious about that profession so i researched it.

woke up late today....

me:  daughter did you stay late last night...that why u up late too?
she looks at me... offended...
daughter:  i went to sleep early.... MY GOD 
husband:  did you hear what she callled you?
me:  yeah... GOD
daughter:  she did give me life.
