Is it waterproof, shockproof like the Kodak Play Sport ZX5 ?  Got one for $50.00 refurb off Amazon.  Using for self-film bow hunting...

I would say buy what you can afford.  For me, being waterproof, dustproof and shockproof is a plus, as I like using it outdoors a lot.  It fits inside a shirt pocket quite nicely.  It does both 1080, 720 @ 30fps or 60 fps.  The price got me sold, the flip is a bit more expensive than the price of this Kodak I think...the only bad thing on this Kodak is that the battery can't be pulled out...video quality is awesome for the price....

k kool the one i was looking at was the samsung hmx w300 its also waterproof and shockproof but the thing is that i been reading the reviews from people saying the waterproof only lasted 30 min but i dont really care about the waterproof. Let me know if there is any other camera that u think is good like these.

Dude, if not being waterproof is a requirement, why even buy one of these units ?  Just use your iPhone or Android phone...I need the waterproof, dust proof, shockproof features as I don't want to ruin it getting it wet, wrecking the circuitry.  I also surely don't want sand getting into it while in the beach.  Coolest of all, I can finally have a cheap way of videotaping my kids swimming underwater...$50.00, can yours beat that ?  I'm not rich...
