The U.S. market wasn't ready for the Café Racer styling, but now it's all the rage. There's now a cult following for this model with a limited production/import base.
Another great set of examples were the; Honda Hawk 650 and the Honda CB-1. Most ended up as club racer specials that were eliminated due to America's market for it's bigger bore in-line 4 brethren.
Finding any of these in great shape is hard to do. If you find one that is, buy it and store it. You'll become a U.S. connoisseur among the folks who enjoy obscure imported motorcycles.
