A simple drawing i did of Rihanna. Wished I gave her a darker background so the portrait would've popped out more but, oh well! Gotta love her though. She's so hot. Hope yall 'likes' it.

I wish I could say I drew this from my mind, but that would be impossible. What I did was look a high resolution picture of the person and used it as references. As you can see in the beginning I use my pencil to measure out facial markings. I use in my guidelines. Then after that it's just a matter of hoping it looks similar to the person.

i haven't drawn anything in a long time as well. For me, it's more like, coming up with a concept, an idea that takes longer than to just sit there and draw. I can't just start sketching because people want me to, i have to have a vision of the image in my head before i put the pen/pencil/brush to canvas. but drawing here and there is just so i don't lose the skills.
