This Iphone5 makes me a criminal......

Yeah so I was at target and this guy sold me an mint condition I5.  I bought it for dirt cheap.  I knew it was a stolen I5 since he sold me the phone only and the screen has a cute message that it has a tracking device..

First thing I did is that I taped up the camera so that whoever that is tracking it can not snap a picture of my face. 

then I reformatted it and wiped out all the apps and such.   Then I bought myself a jailbreaking code online and try to get it to work.  Then I cut my own sim card down to size since I have t mobile and their sim card is a tad big.

Now my question is this.  Can I still be track?  How much should I sling it back if it can be track?  Maybe $250 perhaps?

Doing this makes me feel like I am a criminal but I am not.  I'm just a hustler, a squirrel trying to find a nut....

havent touch the i5 yet but if u wipe out everything then it should be fine unless the i5 has something new to it. Make sure the phone could make calls and text, i once bought a stolen iphone by mistake and couldnt make calls because someone has reported it stolen and the company block off the imei.

Well it is working fine and if they want to track it, they can have it back but they must fork out the dough to get it back though.  I'll say I will take a loss as well.  $300 but really now.  I did not pay no $300 for it.  I payed $20 from a kaydoo who was looking to buy some smoke.

hmm.. as far as i know your data plan is tied to your sim card and phone acct is hardware. so yes you will get caught!
