forget the reviews, look at your price point, what you must have on the laptop and go from there. For me it's resolutions first, processor, graphic cards next and than brand. Other things could be upgraded. HD to SSD, Add more Ram etc down the road.
why would you even need 16 G of RAM? 32 G of RAM is an over kill unless you do scientific computation that loads large data into memory.
spoke with an asus agent and he stated that the specs off that review were incorrect that the highest memory ram for this laptop is only 16 gb...just preparing for the future...i'm a scientist...
Oh wait.. it said that I have 8GB memory, is that small or big?
go away. PSYCHO!
Should of bought a supercomputer. Haha.
well on the asus specs it says 16gb as the max but it does have 4 slots...just throw in a 8gb stick as a test, if it recognizes that, then it will surely support up to 32gb on the x64. Most tech you talked to are level 1 so they will just reply with what the specs says. You need to talk to a higher level tech to get a better answer but like you said someone else posted that they got the os to recognize 32gb; so your chances that the mobo will support it is pretty high. If I own that laptop, I will surely shoot for 32gb, the more the merrier for me. Remember to throw in a 512 or 256 ssd and your all set.didn't know you are a techie diana..good to know.
