OMG my husband got me a new DLSR camera

and I have no idea how to put it to good use!

I know how to use the automatic mode to click and shoot, but not anything more than that! I've been educating myself about aperture, shutter speed and ISO on youtube  but am just getting more and more confused about it!

I want to take great photos that are almost the quality of the professional. LOL ...

I don't understand your post though.  Did you just want this community to know that you got your first DSLR or were you looking for some input/help/questions answered?

Don't worry about aperture or shutter speed for now.   Learn about ISO speeds first.  play around with changing those settings.   Have fun and good luck.

I remember how I felt when I got my first dslr. 

Keep learning. Don't use AUTO.... learn to shoot in manual... It will take practice.
