So I felt a little poetic today and decided to contribute. I'm not big on writing about my feelings so I won't write about them, but I wanted to maybe express creativity (or lack of) through a poetic story. Its going to be a three part series...well, maybe less if I get bored or people don't like, but here it goes. Please don't judge too harshly, I just wanted to have some fun.
Chapter 1: Pride
Sad is this tale of woeful lore
A heart wrenching story, never told before
About the life of a young woman who lost her youth
a victim of circumstance, yes this was the truth.
An accomplished lady and the talk of the town
Every man's heart she owned, never having to utter a sound.
All angles of her beauty sharpen like a blade
Enough to pierce hearts and minds with her alluring gaze.
Beauty was her weapon and vanity her poison,
Soon to be married at her parent's disposition.
"This man I am to wed, is he not above all?
For only such a man, could I ever love"
How joyous she was the day they were to meet,
All smiles and laughter, indeed an incandescent treat.
Three loud knocks and heavy whispers at the her door
What kind of man is he, what life awaits our Eleanor.
