When I was kid I never thought about death
All I thought about was the people that I was with
But now things have change
Life will never be the same
There is no one to blame
The only thing that remains is the pain
A pain that cuts the soul
A pain that's buried 6 feet underneath the soil
A pain that's derived from our worst fears
A pain that can't make anyone hold back tears
Never have I felt a pain like such
The pain from losing someone that you love so much
There's nothing left but photos and memories
And it hurts to reminisce about the decease
The only way to see them is after I die
But I can't leave this world, I can't say "goodbye"
So I'll leave all the work to the "man" up there
And every night I'll say The Lord's Prayer
Dear God, please forgive me of the sins that I commit
Please forgive me for taking advantage of your gift
I know now that it's a blessing to live
I continue to rid myself of all the negative
But there are times when I think about my _ _ _
I want to go back and live in the past
I can't and that makes me mad but more so sad
We all want to be with both the dead and the alive
But it's ashamed that we can't be at two places at one time
I want to thank you for my friends and my family
They have shown nothing but love for me
It's because of them that I'm not so lonely
The anger inside of me doesn't seem so heavy
Now I can sleep and rest from all the stress
No more waking up from nightmares dripping in sweat
Now I'll wait patiently till my love one appears in my sight
Maybe then I'll understand "The True Meaning Of Life"
