Lenovo should stick to making hardware and firmware.

I have one.

Mine is the Lenovo G50. I mainly use it for gaming, photoshop, websurfing. I've also installed 3D programs like 3d Studio Max and Maya. They run perfectly fine. The build quality is solid. I've owned it for over a year now and have not had any hardware issues at all.

If you want more information on it, let me know, I'll post pics.

I have lenovo thinkpad.  I prefer MacBook pro any time.  The thinkpad screen sucks.  But then mine is several year old.

Lenovo is owned by IBM or vise versa...so their laptop is similar to IBM.  They built quality laptop but if I have to choose between Lenovo or IBM, I'd choose IBM.  They are both strong and tough laptop but not as tough as Panasonic Toughbook.  Both Lenovo and IBM implement finger print and if the laptop is stolen or lost, the hard drive is virtually useless.
