Yes, you have to watch out for places like that especially if folks know you are American..

Not only that but if they know you are Asian and not Japanese..

Japan still is a nice place but it's sad this still happens...

It's still so ducking weird to meet another Hmong person from another culture. I was a bit thrown off and excited to have met a Hmong from Georgia with a southern accent, even better were the Hmong Australians.
