Republicans think this is a good start:
"Trump's latest budget would slash the major source of public funds for mental health treatment, the Medicaid program serving more than 70 million low-income and disabled people. The budget also calls for a 36 percent cut to an Education Department grant program that supports safer schools, reducing it by $25 million from the current level of $67.5 million."
They're just the best, I tell ya..
The fundamental question is whose job is to take care of the members of the community? Is it the government? Or is it the people? When the catholic church was serving the country's need of being taken care of they did it out of their good hearts. Certain groups in America did not like this and they took to action to have the government do this. It is why the catholic church is out of the healthcare business and it is why healthcare is so expensive now. This ugly truth is not spoken of unless you understand the deep history of healthcare and also understand the subterfuge going on relating to political identity....an
yways, it's much too complicated for most Americans to understand. They just want to work 8 hours, come home, workout, play with the kids, eat dinner and repeat. Then they try to talk politics as if they understand it. It's like when I talk to non-practicing scientist about theories and mathematics of science...they understand current event but don't have a clue about how to do it. Needless to say, most Americans are not grounded in theory and rationality no more...it's all force-fed BS.
Sure we need all of those things in society...why is it happening? Nobody talks about root cause. All everyone talks about is how to profit from social problems and the easiest person to target is big government because the government is not accountable to social reform, PEOPLE ARE, YOU ARE. I think once Americans are educated that ORGANIZATIONS are not accountable for TRANSFORMATION because they are too busy with ORDER/STABILITY, we would realize that the PEOPLE are best to solve the problem and not government. Build a non-profit and drive the results.
