"better" in terms of what?

Here's what I gathered:

Nuclear- more pollution, more reliability

Renewable- less pollution if any, less reliability

Two concerns.  Is it safe?  Don't want to have a nuclear meltdown that will end the world.

2nd.. does it produce toxic waste and where are we gonna store it?

I like to pay cheap but at what cost to get it cheap?

Perhaps we can send the waste to the moon.  Nothing there to kill off anyway.  But that radiation waste might fly back to earth.
