Smithfield Foods Worker Caught Urinating On The Line In Meat Processing Plant [VIDEO]

Smithfield told the local TV station that uncovered the video footage it had destroyed 50,000 pounds of meat in the wake of the incident.

They released a statement that said, “The facility immediately halted production, fully cleaned the processing line, and sanitized all equipment multiple times before resuming operations. In accordance with Smithfield’s food safety and quality standards, more than 50,000 pounds of product were disposed of following a swift internal investigation that revealed an employee had urinated at his station during the production process.”

That particular factory has more than 2,500 employees and produces bacon, sausage, pork and smoked meats.

Smithfield, a $15 billion company with 54,000 employees, is synonymous with ham. The company operates a number of meat processing plants around the country, including the world’s largest pork processing plant in Tar Heel, North Carolina. It slaughters an estimated 32,000 pigs a day.

It started out talking about a crime then ended with talking about the company and what it sells.

We want to know if charges will be pressed and will idiot has to pay $50k worth of wasted foods?

Or maybe this is another case like Amazon workers forcing to pee in bottles because of the demands with production type of work.

Next step is joining a consumer's lawsuit citing that you ate their meat without knowing.   What a way to tarnish your line of product and reputation.
