some people are just fortunate enough to meet, let alone caddie for a pro golfer and on top of that, gets paid thousands doing so! There is a reason why one is a pro golfer and another, a caddie...pro golfer makes the money, a caddie is a pro at carrying golf clubs and luggages.
There was no "fraud"...sounds like they had a prior agreement, win or lose, the caddie was going to make $4000, the $1000 was actually the tip. kuchar held his end of the bargain and that was the "FACT", there shouldn't have been any shaming. Those who did shame him, were probably upset about losing the tournament. the caddie himself shouldn't have made a big deal neither, it might have ruined his future opportunities to caddie, most likely not with kuchar but other pro golfers, too.
this is no different than me winning the lottery and promising you guys lunch, don't be expecting my money too!
