I'm sure many people in Minnesota would love to have low overnight temps in the "40s" during the Winter months, and probably scoff and laugh at these bad guys in SoCal for this  :

Hundreds of inmates at the Terminal Island federal prison on the harbor front spent one of the coldest periods in decades in frigid cells with no heat and only blankets for warmth before they were transferred temporarily to another facility.

As outside temperatures plunged into the low 40s at night, two units that housed more than 200 inmates lost heat after an underground steam line failed in January at the low-security federal lockup that sits at the entrance to Los Angeles Harbor in San Pedro. Inmates were provided with extra blankets, officials said.

what's funnier is that california cares more about their criminals than regular citizens! they have people who are homeless and starving but the inmates have it made! ha!

Hey, there's nothing that says a homeless person can't commit a crime so he can be thrown in prison and taken care of.  They chose to be there.

We would definitely love to have those temps.  Most of us are tired of Winter and ready for Spring.

Like I said, many Minnesotans would love to have overnight outdoor temps in the 40s during the Winter months there... ...so these wuss at Terminal Island should not complain...
