What's a good reason to want a gun?

There are reasons to want a gun......but are there really “good” reasons?  I’m not so sure about that.     Before anyone says for protection and/or hunting, there are other weapons and/or products out there that can be used.   

Ummm....some people can't physically use other weapons to hunt. Too weak to draw the bow. Not going to say any names.
