FLINT-ROD, i already use up my 1 week vacaction for the year

during the spring, when I was fishing
and got home really late from smelting, slept all day
and other fishing trip and weekend getaway

when i'm talking about 1 week
im talking about 5 days

i know, man
it suck
ain't no way to live life
it's depressing

so now, I'm just faking sickcall, family member death, out of town family emergency, injury....etc...
i hate doing it, but man
this is the game, we have to play when you only get 1-2 week of vacation per year

i probably going fake my uncle passing away this upcoming November
when i go deer hunting
that will give me 3-4 day of fake grieving

that's probably the only way, i can get off   (not paid)

she gets about 4 week of vacation (lucky)
she ask me why do I keep lying to my boss/supervisor
i told her, because i don't have any vacation/day off
you just gotta call in and make up something they want to hear

You ever consider getting a new job? I'm somewhat in the same boat I supposed. I usually have a little over a month each year but getting approval for a month off can be a problem. I'm actively looking for a new job but they pay less and a longer commute so I really don't have a choice. It would be a god send if they were to just let me go. I'm at the burned out stage where I really need it a break and can use unemployment for awhile; after all I paid too much tax and I deserve a little help. Would like just to take 1-2yr and get loss somewhere in the world.
