Will not survive.  Why?

Radiation and lots of them.  You can only control so much.  Mars, without a layer in our atmosphere like us will give you a direct hit of big time radiation.  You may die of a slowly death or out of food, whichever comes first.

Everything would have to be ready before the migration of the first pioneers. Over 200K have already purchased a one way tickets.

Within them 200k are also the same people that looks up to the sky and waiting for a ufo to drop by and beam them up.

Making room for another 200k to be born on earth.

I would definitely sign up to go to Mars if they can find a way to get us there in a weeks time.  I would travel the galaxy if we can travel through worm holes and control our destinations O0

I don't care if we're alone in the universe, I just want to know that there is another habitable planet out there close enough that human can have a  chance of survival when dooms day come.

Why Mars and not the moon? Or just build your own country in space that orbits the sun.

A friend of mine and myself had this talk about 5 years ago.

Right now it'd be a oneway trip.

Anyways I told him I wouldnt mind if they sent me to go colonize as long as they sent me with at least 200 girls, preferably 365.  And he looked at me and just laughed and shook his head.

Its a one way trip at this time.  Theres no coming back.  Send me with the brightest smartest good lookingest ready to populate minds and I am not going to mind at all.

I went through all 15k posts and those 2 quotes I found were the only ones so I guess that would make it "everytime".  Feel free to go through all 15k posts and verify by quoting them all.  You need to quote them all to verifying prove "everytime".   Please verify that Im wrong.

Actually sending folks to mars would be the best way to start the best colinization  and cultivation of "super" humans.

Send only people

1.  Above certain IQ, like whatever is a genius IQ and above.
2.  Genetically predespose for good musculature physical bodies.
3.  A certain height.
4.  Disease free.  Like really disease free.

And so many other stuff that are free
Of the issues we face.
