As we all know, the libs/dems were all talking crap about the 1% buying elections for the GOP, donating to the GOP, etc. etc. etc. They came up with laws to stop such practices which is all good and fair for everyone. However, they don't practice what they preach... Instead, they welcome and seek donation from the 1% themselves.

However, if Bloomberg had been a GOP. We all can expect the wrath from these media for weeks on end.
To be fair, it's ok for any potential candidates to do whatever money they got from their failed campaign. However, Bloomberg's campaign was self funded. Which means that all the money he gave to the DNC is from him, an individual person. The DNC is all ok with it, as matter of fact, they encourage such practices.
You can see the conflict and trouble here... What the DNC is saying is that money from other candidates' campaign can be donated to their political party. Hence, this will opened the door to any millionaires, billiionaires, etc. to run a self funded sham campaign and turnaround, donate all that money to their political party. What's to stop them from doing it when the DNC opened that door? Any GOP billionaires can do the same as Bloomberg now and the Libs/Dems can't complain.
I guarantee they will do something real quick to close that loophole once the election is over. But not until they got what they wanted first...
Remember this about the history of the Democrats:
- They started the practice of "Gerrymandering"
- Majority of them opposed desegragation
- Majority of them opposed the Civil Rights Act'
- They (Reid) ended Filibuster: which means any political party with a majority can railroad the other party to appoint anyone to office. Trump can thank the Dems for this little action they took when they were majority.
- Etc. Etc.
