Toro is a good brand but like most of other equipment, it gets outdated and should be "update"...

I need one of these electric lawn mower too.  My push mower is 15 years old, and it's starting to choke up if the grass gets tall.

I switched from a gas trimmer to electric a few years back and it's so much better.  Don't have to remember to fill with gas and deal with pulling the cord to start.  And the gas smell, just sucks.  Now, I plug the battery and go.

That's the main thing right there, less maintenance, lighter, quieter and don't have to deal with mixing gas properly.

I've converted over 10 years ago and have not look back..The one minor drawback I found is battery powered mower are less powerful on average but the new ones are pretty close to gas mowers now. I would recommend getting the ones with removable batteries. Sure another battery is additional cost but it's also additional power when needed. And over time, it's actually cheaper than paying for gasoline..

I do have a riding lawn mower, but I also have to use the push mower on some areas.
I'm also looking at the electric riding lawn mower but I need them to be able to tow too.
