For real? I thought Salmons migrate from ocean to river/stream then circle back to the sea. I hardly know how the terrain in Wis. operate.
I only know North Cali has few opening for Salmons swim from west coast of Pacific ocean into the streams and dams. That's why I often visit fish hatchery every spring and summer to see different breed of Salmons.
they are not native fish
they were introduce a loooong time before i was born
now they rule the great lakes along with them lake trout
it's great fishing man
can be tough at time, cuz the fishes are wayyy out there in the water
need them to come to the shore for spawning

these fish are call "whitefish" and they're freakin delicious
