Fishing outing photos as promised a couple of weeks ago

Arrived and we did big body of water fishing:

Taught my daughter about different baits, lures, weights, etc., used for fishing after retiring her pink practice fish and putting it in the tackle box:

We also stopped by at a restaurant for lunch that also has a balcony with built in rod holders for fishing cause my baby girl still wants her cheese burger and fries.. :

That pond fishing has this MN feels to it.   Mn ponds are decked out with patios and wooden pier that caters to the white folks like how camp would do it.

If such pond is in my local cali ghetto area, you would see lines tying to that wooden pier with no fisherman around.  They go early to set shop, go home to do their things and come back to pull up their lines and dinner is ready.  Considering that other fisherman did not get to their lines first.

People do that for a desperate catch.  Illegal indeed

Cool.  My in-laws say that fall fish don't taste good like spring fish.  Any truth to that?
