Eat 30 or "Noj Peb Caug" is the literal translation for New Year celebration for some Hmong:

Well you know that even during the pandemic, other white man shows are still going on and some are on the down low.

They should do the cultural part like an event that you guys do on stage for a few hours and close shop.  Intention is not to make a profit for greed will ruin the cultural part.

After the Hmong shaman god won his battle against a powerful demon, his victory was celebrated with 30 types of Hmong dishes.

That event became a tradition of annual celebration as the new year starts each year.

Somehow that's just a name nowadays. The only dishes that are celebrated at Hmong new years are sticky rice paddies dipped  in brown sugarcane syrup, boiled chicken, boiled pork, boiled eggs and a rice dish.

Maybe that's because what was not written has been forgotten long ago. I bet we can't come up with those 30 Hmong dishes these days.

What’s eat 30? Lol
