all I remembered is under a buck.  Lilke 97 cents here in cali.  Gotta by from 1989 around there cuz that is when I first came to california from narleans.

Now that 6 bux a gallon is some serious chit.  I've seen high but that is up there in the grapevine mountains and a must pump or die cuz I totally forgot about pumping at that one cheap station at the bottom of the mountain before going up that grapevine.

Electric in 2025 they say.  Not gonna happen unless they start building them electrical pumping station.

I gotta say I've never personally fueled up at less than a buck a gallon post the year 2000 but yeah plenty of times back pre-2000 especially in the 80s..
