esp Hmong people. Not trying to pick a fight. Just curious.
What I am about to write is wholly based on my own observations and nothing more. Obviously this is only my opinion and I can be wrong...
From what I know in the time I have had interactions with Hmong people, they fall into two main groups. One, they are financially challenged and traditionally the Democratic Party tends to offer more social assistance in the form of social programs, grants, funding and giveaways. Logic would dictate that if a political party or system is supporting your livelihood and wellbeing, you would generally gravitate towards it. And two, the second group in my observation, some Hmong grow up in urban areas, traditional strongholds of families with Democratic beliefs and values. Whether by assimilation or manipulation, intentionally or unintentionall
y, these Hmong grew up Democrats.
Obviously, there maybe other reasons why Hmong people are disproportiona
lly Democrats, but these are the 2 main reasons in my humble opinion.
