A racing pigeon has survived an extraordinary 13,000-kilometer (8,000-mile) Pacific Ocean crossing from the United States to find a new home in Australia. Now, authorities consider the bird a quarantine risk and plan to kill it.

People are dumb or what?  They need to be educated that you can test for covid 19 and no lives need to be compromise just for a sake of a fear. 

Now with them culprits like bats and feral cats,  I'm sorry, I can't say enough to save your lives but pigeon?  Come on now.   :2funny:
