Guy had a solid resume in football from coach to analyst to sit in broadcaster to video games to special events.  You name it, the guy is just as famous. 

Also heard that his character off the field is just as great.  He's a comedian without being a comedian if you listen to his clip very carefully.  Did not know he was that old and did not know he was getting ill. 

If it was not for john madden football, there would not be that many wannabe coaches.  I mean my hmong flag football team got a guy writing us plays directly from the game.
