Honestly, I wouldn't

I buy cars to drive, not collect them.

but man, them prices though.  Mid 20s?  really?  A guy who must have a toyota truck will buy it.

I wouldn't either but seems like that's the going price now due to the supply demand factor. I mean the late model used ones are pushing $60k now so guess either pay $25k for a 15 year old one or pay $50k for one that's a couple of years old?  ???:

I have been looking at these trucks(tacomas) for a while now.  And again, atm, the price that these trucks are going for.......are just insane ridiculous.  But then again, there are still people buying them.  Just me, but, there are no way in h3LL, I would fork up $50-$60k for these trucks.  No way!

I know a hmong guy who is a tad older than I am, married with children but why would 1 guy who doesn't have a life so he doesn't commute, doesn't do field work, doesn't travel but yet, has like 5 vehicles under his name?

All vehicles are within the 5 years old marker.

Tundra
taco
camry
accord

and for his retirement, his kids payed for his newest toy, another Tundra trd pro.  His 4 runner probably has less than 4k miles on it and it is untouched.  His kids are forbidden to touch his vehicles.

The finance doesn't favor him though.  With all them vehicles, you gotta pay insurance, tags and yet, you don't even drive it anywhere.

See, when I buy a used car, I tend to seek out them old people like thus.  All they do is drive to church and to the local grocery store and that's it.  Old white people driving american cars though but they are still good.  Would make a good first car for a college student.   O0

Gotta a friend that's in your boat too. I tell him to wait until the demand/supply factor to die down first..

We plan to get an electric car in the near future too but we'll wait until this supply line issue dies down..

Wow, that's crazy low miles..

To each his own but I would never buy a work horse and treat it as a garage queen...

Reminds me when I worked in the Social Services field. Some Hmong clients say they don't speak English so they can't get jobs and too old so they can't learn English. As a result, they don't have any money or assets so welfare resources are the only way to support them but when I drove by their place of resident, I see like 4-5 late model to new  Toyota and Honda vehicles on their drive-way... ;D ;D ;D

Yep, that taco is the prime example of garage queens.
