It's nice right?  I find myself having so much free time now hahaha.....  Don't have to worry about making sure they (kids) complete homework assignment, be a soccer mom running around like a chicken w/ no head, no parent-teacher conference, ..

Now and going forward, I can really focus more on me and the hubby and doing things I love.  Last night, it was so quiet, I was able to sip my favorite wines and chill down watching Kdrama ahhaha.....

One room as guest bedroom when the grandkids visit, right, Dok?

When I was in college, I watched a conference on video. A professor at the U of Minnesota was lecturing about family relations. He said there are two happy times in a couple's "life" together: 1. when they are still dating before having children, and 2. after the children have grown old and left.

But 40s and 50s--still strong enough to fish, hunt or walk in the park on weekends when the grandkids are out with their parents.

It's nice right?  I find myself having so much free time now hahaha.....  Don't have to worry about making sure they (kids) complete homework assignment, be a soccer mom running around like a chicken w/ no head, no parent-teacher conference, ..

Has she married? Do you have grandkids yet, bro? If so, you're a grandfather now. I know you don't like one yet. :2funny:

The world is full of good people. If you can't find one, be one!

If you can't figure out how to be kind, figure out how to be quiet

This is why I say getting married and/or having kids is NOT a requirement in life so only do it if you think you're really up for it...
