So BVPS its a tool to gauge face value of a stock price. We’re doing good here. Im gald you pay attention to market cap and shares outstanding.

Market Cap/ shares outstanding= BVPS

Now I plug in a number for Company XYZ

1 million market cap/ 1 million shares outstanding= $1 stock.

Company XYZ stock at book value is $1.

A tool to find undervalue stocks.

i always thought it was share divide by outstanding share
what you describe is like income/revenue
don't over think too much about RATIO
its useless info if you got nothing to compare to

I know. You’re talking about their small float because they never diluted their shares.

you see Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Class A share
it's like $481,000 per share

ahahah  ;D ;D ;D

My badd your right its BVPS= Equity/Shares outstanding.

My analogy of the lemonade stand was the equity vs income.

Market cap tends to be inflated valued compare when you look at the annual revenue of the company. If company was to liquid then BVPS is the bare bone of what the face value of the share is worth.

Don’t look at RATIO too much
They don’t mean jack
Tesla has a really high p/e ratio
I think its like 900 something

Look at good steady revenue and good company
Buy when they dip and sell when its high

$fb

Should think about buying this dip

IRA are just type of trading account
when you open a account
it will ask if you want a roth ira or regular brokerage

ROTH IRA are tax free account
REGULAR BROKERAGE is tax account

you want to max out your ROTH IRA account cuz all gains and dividend are tax free
$6,000 for you and $6,000 for your spouse even if they work or don't work

SCHWAB, FIDELITY, VANGUARD are good ROTH IRA
because they offer target date index...
it's all automatic
you chose a date that you want to retired...
and they buy and allocated stock and bonds for you
