What about student loan forgiveness? RU for it or against?

I am for loan forgiveness. Not because it’s right or wrong or that it would benefit me or not but because Biden made a promise that if he was elected he would grant student loan forgiveness across the board.  Now he’s not doing it and saying he’s considering limited loan forgiveness which is short of what was promised. He will lose a lot of support from young voters for this mistake.

If thats the case people are taking advantage of the loan system. Students will take out student loans, graduate, file bankruptcy and not pay back what they owe. Wait 10 years for their credit to reset. But it doesnt matter because they can already work in their profession with a free pass. This was problematic from the Obama administration . So there’s no way government will allow free passes again.

Let me give you an example. I max out my student loan and expect Biden to bail me out. Even if I go bankrupt I still got my free Doctor degree and get to practice in my profession. I can wait 10 years after and buy a house. Good going Obama.

I agree with this article above. They should promote jobs that will gives incentives to pay off student loans if you work for the company.

Unfortunately students loan is one those thing you can’t declare bankruptcy
