This is what happened when you make cops soft.  All over the news, you see stories about cops just doing their job and they ended up going to jail for it. 

Cops are catching on.  No one wants to play the hero.  Doing less is still the safest bet they say.  One wrong move and it can cost you your job, your wife and your integrity.  Just ask Chuvin. 

Even high car speed chase these days.  If it is too dangerous to involve the public, the cops will back off.

Now if you want to play hero, YOU FIRST.  Lets just hope that it is favorable on your side. 

Disclaimer: I'm not backing up the cops either since they are suppose to be the good guy.  I'm just sharing a psychological implication that we may have missed.

I have to apologized to the cop checking his phone... further investigation and info came to light that he was in contact with his wife, who was one of the teacher shielding her students during this massacre. She was shot and was dying, hence he took his phone out to check.

Because they uphold the 2nd Amendment? What does that have to do with cops other than the fact that normal citizens are entitled to protect themselves between the time it takes the cops to show up?
