I don't hunt anymore but used to and we would be gone for days so just wondering what food items do you hunters pack when you go hunting hundred of miles away and spending several days at the hunting grounds?  ???

Per personally, I bring a bunch fresh veggies and herbs such as mustard, bitter melon, peppers, mint, lemon grass, ginger, garlic, scallion, cilantro, banana leaves, lime/lemon, bread and round egg plant as well as rice grains (both jasmine and sweet). Obviously salt and drinking/cooking water are a given. And no meat of any kind because I can get fresh killed meat at the hunting grounds...

The veggies and herbs I bring looks similar to the ones in the photo below:
