Racist Eye Gesture

Do you still get offended or is it offensive to you when people makes the racist eye gesture.

I have a coworker who does that and it doesn’t sit well with me.

In sports even today, the players will get banned if they make the same gesture.

Not anymore but I've never had any issues speaking up and defending myself if it was directed at me..

I was walking by and saw it. Even though she thinks it’s funny but not to some. I don’t know how my coworkers (Hmong) feels about it though. Not going to ask.

I can’t speak to the person since it wasn’t directed at me.

You talking about the "chinese eye" gesture or something else? In today's society, lots of things are consider racist gestures.

Asian are consider 'white' so these gestures are not consider racism because there's nothing racist against white.

Yes, it is. However, the MSM and Left/Dem don't see it that way. Actually, majority of crimes and racist remarks directed toward Asian by White/Black/Mex will not make any news because, like I said, Asian are consider not part of the marginalized/oppressed (BIPOC) groups because we're successful in America.

I would have warn that girl to stop or get reported to HR. if she's black, I would tell her if it's ok for me to paint my face black or if she's White, would she mind eating crackers in front of her...

She’s white. We are pretty friendly here. I don’t know how well the two know each other and how comfortable they are as coworker/friend , so from the on looker perspective, it wasn’t right.

She’s white. We are pretty friendly here. I don’t know how well the two know each other and how comfortable they are as coworker/friend , so from the on looker perspective, it wasn’t right.
