Cop Clocks Tiny Woman in Horrific Video of Chaotic Arrest
Video in this link: https://news.yahoo.com/cop-clocks-tiny-woman-horrific-164743565.html

On Tuesday, shocking video emerged of a New York City cop decking a small woman in the face after they exchanged shoves in Harlem.

The viral video, taken by a bystander on 136th St in Central Harlem, shows the not-yet-identified woman appearing to strike the officer’s shoulder with an open hand after he pushed her away from the scene of an arrest.

Then the officer advances, hitting her hard and dropping her to the ground, where she appears to writhe in pain. The cops at the scene then proceed to handcuff the woman before the video ends.

The officer wore a badge and precinct number associated with Detective Kendo Kinsey, a Neighborhood Coordination Officer in Harlem’s 32nd precinct. Reached by phone on Wednesday, Kinsey told The Daily Beast that he was “very much” aware of the video but could not comment.

An NYPD spokesperson who did not sign their name replied to requests for comment by email, but only by expanding on the details of the arrest near 136th street on Aug. 30.

According to the NYPD, the Harlem cops were originally seeking to arrest a man “being sought in connection to an attempted murder.” The spokesperson said that multiple individuals at the scene of the arrest “interfered by physically assaulting numerous officers,” some of whom were arrested.

NYPD union may sue teen punched out by cop in caught-on-camera clash

NEW YORK — An NYPD union may sue the 19-year-old woman who tried to interfere with her boyfriend’s arrest for attempted-murder in Harlem — and was slugged by a city cop as a result.

The Detectives Endowment Association is exploring a possible civil suit against Tamani Crum for slapping and shoving Detective Kendo Kinsey as her boyfriend was being taken into custody, the union’s president said Thursday.

“Criminals in New York have grown accustomed to there being no consequences for their dangerous, illegal actions,” DEA President Paul DiGiacomo said. “But when you assault a New York City detective in order to interfere with an arrest of a man armed with a gun there are repercussions.”

During the wild caught-on-camera melee, Kinsey punched Crum in the face, knocking her onto the sidewalk.

Video of detective hitting woman prompts NYPD investigation

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City police say they’re investigating a confrontation Tuesday in which a detective shoved and hit a woman, causing her to fall to the ground, after she struck him as he helped arrest a suspect in an attempted killing.

Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell said Thursday that the department’s Internal Affairs Bureau’s Force Group is investigating. Advocates called for Detective Kendo Kinsey’s firing after a bystander captured video of the clash. As of Thursday, there was no change in his duty status.

Sewell also authorized the release of body camera footage, which shows the woman approaching Kinsey, asking “What’s the problem?” and hitting the detective in the chest while officers were arresting a man wanted in a shooting on Aug. 12 that police said involved several suspects firing at multiple people.

Kinsey is then seen striking her with an open hand, knocking her to the ground on a Harlem street. She remained conscious and was taken to a hospital at her request, Sewell said.

Sorry but she deserved it... Anyone that decided they can just go up to interfere with an arrest need to be put down.

Loved how they tried to portray... She's not tiny, she's just skinny. They're trying to get people emotional by their headline... "Oh, why would a big bad cop punched a tiny little black girl for doing nothing.... blah, blah, blah, blah, blah"

BLM won't be protesting because the cop is black... they will if the cop was not POC.
