Woke Hollywood glorifying slave trading...
« on: September 13, 2022, 12:41:24 PM »
They never thought people would be smart enough to figure out the real history...

"The Woman King" is about a tribe of warrior women called Dahomey... and supposely base on true events. They're trying to make women as powerful warriors, blah blah blah...

In reality, however, these warriors were nothing more than blood thirsty marauding people who invade and destroyed neighboring villages and states and taking children and others into slaves and selling these slaves off to European, some of these slaves end up in America. Not only that, they sacrificed up to 500 slaves  every year during their religious festival. In one of these festival it was estimated that they sacrificed up to 4,000 slaves (mass murder).

In the movie General Nanisca, one of the main character was portrayed as a mighty warrior but in real life was just a teenager with no fighting experience. The character was actually modeled after the real commander of the Agojie during at least part of the reign of King Ghezo, General Seh-Dong-Hong-Beh. In 1851, Seh-Dong-Hong-Beh led an army of 6,000 Dahomey female warriors against the Egba fortress of Abeokuta in order to obtain slaves for the Dahomey slave trade. The battle took its toll on the Agojie. Their swords, spears, and bows were largely ineffective against Egba's European cannons. Only about 1,200 Agojie warriors survived the lengthy battle.

They also lost badly during the First Franco-Dehomean war... with thousands of their warriors dead while France lost very few men.

Yes, it's just a movie... however, don't attached "base on true event" BS to it. This is like Hollywood making Hitler as a superhero.

Hahaha... WOKE rage is those purple/blue hair, pronoun enforcing people on TikTok, Twitter and FB.

Latest.... Actress who portray one of the character told people that if you don't go see this movie, you don't support Black woman as superheroes. So, Rock... you better go see this movie because you support Black woman superhero  >:D

Doesn't this movie give pride to feminism or woman power like Wonder Woman does?
