Even though it's a buffet, I find that if I tip the server ahead of time, I tend to get better service throughout my dining experience over the years when given the option  . And yes, they totally profited big time on my kid's entrance fee cause she just mainly eats the pizza, fried chicken, fries and some dessert..  :

They cheap out on the prime rib. It was not good IMO, very little marble and dry and tasted low grade..:




The Smoke & Fire station was pretty good:








This curry in the World Pan (Asian) station was pretty good too:









Also good was this pork porchetta in the Roastery station. Nice crispy but juicy skin like how the Filipinos do it (chicharon):










The sushi was not that good either, taste like your typical cheap Chinese buffet sushi:

Not a bad casino overall. Wife put $100 on a sports bet and as I waited for her, I through $20 into a slot machine and yes many slot machines are catered toward Asian patrons:

Nice! I have a daughter who would have enjoyed that lobster buffet.

Took my girls out for seafood boil last night. Supposedly 4.5-5.0 lbs plus sausage, corn, and potatoes. Used to be about $55 for the same combo but is now over $110

I have heard of that lobster buffet at the palms when it was grand opening a while back.  When they say lobster, I'm expecting a lobster tail.  Some places will say they have lobster but it is more of a lobster claw type of a deal.  I'm not paying to eat lobster claws.  Makes me feel like the rich folks eating the tail while the poor folks are eating the leftover claws.

Weds will be hard for me to get to Vegas on that date but still doable if the planning is right.  I'm usually a Thurs to Sunday home type of a guy.  Spend enough time in vegas without going broke and still have sat and sunday to deal with. 

I still want to do vegas before the year is over but my party crew and their schedules and timing are not in line with myself.  It is always me working on their time to make it easier for everyone.

Overall, the quality, freshness and taste of their lobsters is on par with the ones I've had at Boom Town and Jackson Rancheria but cost about twice as much. Therefore, will not repeat...

Between Palms' AYCE and Caesar's Bacchannal, Bacchannal's food are much fresher and taste better IMO. Even though Bacchannal's entry fee is $15 more, I would still rather go to there...
