..pin hole leaks behind the walls are pretty hard to detect. Most of the time, it's not discovered until the wetness have already broken through...

Temporary DIY Band-Aid like a spare tire for cars...using synthetic rubber hose (better known as radiator and heater hose) and a clamp to stop the leak:

Nah, just normal wear and tear..

After years of hot water running through those copper pipes, chemicals such as calcium and magnesium combine with unbalanced pH water can become acidic and cause corrosion inside of those pipes...

For examples:

Pin hole leaks starts from the inside out. Once the corrosion eats through enough copper, the pressure of the water breaks through and becomes a pin hole leak...

Quote
"What causes pinhole leaks in copper pipes? Pinhole leaks slowly develop when corrosive materials on the inside of the pipe wear through the metal, forming a leak. The primary cause of pinhole leaks is the composition of the water flowing through your plumbing system."

Trying the match the paint?

Cut a small piece from a hidden spot like behind electrical outlet face plate, bring it to places like Home Depot and they'll put it through their paint mixing system and formulate the color for you... O0:

Grab these for the job too as it's no charge with the purchase of paint:
