Is this True?

There's a shortage of Sriracha sauce?  Is the company no longer making them?

If you talking about the rooster logo then the company ain't doing that no more. They replace it with the ox and the dragon. Two weeks ago I bought these two from Hmong store. Even though I keep pouring these sauces into my Pho, they won't produce any good taste like the original.

So I replace Siriacha sauce with Meka sauce and Mev sauce.

Shortage of farmers selling jalapenos to Huy Fong.

But the sauce is out there, selling to retailers and restaurants.

As for me, I wouldn't trust the company or anyone selling that the original sauce. Something suspicious going on. ;D

China has a big chili industry. Huh Fong should order
his condiments from there.

Hmong store in my hometown selling these hybrid peppers. My sibling bought one with the red "X" in the center of traditional symbol. I tried it and it's sure darn hot.

These Hmongs are creating and promoting as their own as much as Mekas's hot stuff: https://heatonist.com/products/season-14-hot-ones-trio

I went to two pho restaurants this July and neither had any
of the original Sriracha sauce anymore. One had a
replacement sauce; the other didn't have any such similar
sauce at all.

I didn't know this was an issue.

I finally found a Vietnamese pho restaurant that has
Sriracha. I gave them a tip after eating their pho last week. :2funny:

This one seems to be surfacing in many places now. The old Huy Fong brand is probably fading but those who overstocked still have them.

Made in Vietnam and not California.

Doesn't taste the same.

A few weeks ago I was at an Asian market in [location]. They had boxes and boxes of that brand but they limited it to 2. One bottle was going for $9.99.

I don't care much for Sriracha. I prefer to use only the fried garlic pepper paste in pho.

Still got one that is probably close to 5 years old..lols still 3/4 full. haha

i think it's a ploy to get people to pay hundreds and thousands for a bottle..i'll put mines on craigslist for 100 bucks..haha j/k
never was too crazy for it. but i read somewhere they're still making them, they are just using a different pepper to make it now.

all I need in my pho as far as condiments go is hoison sauce and chile garlic oil. but then it wouldn't be authentic pho, cus hoison is Chinese..lols but never was too crazy for PHo to begin with..I prefer chicken noodle soup a lot of times..lols
