I can see the attraction to women though because these fat guys can still make $ millions after retiring  ???:

Quote
The art of Sumo is exemplified by impressive athletes who devote their lives to the sport. The Japanese Sumo Association collects a cut of their earnings before giving it to the wrestlers. Yokozuna (the highest paid Sumo wrestler) can earn more than $100,000 per month. All Sumo wrestlers are paid a salary by the Japan Sumo Association. The average monthly salary for a YUKYALA in 1990 was $7,000, rising to $25,000 in 2000 and $20,000 in 2001. Asashoryu, the richest sumo wrestler in the world, has an estimated net worth of $50 million to $75 million. Asashoryu established his investment company in 2003.

He owns 56% of Mongolia’s National Investment Bank. Onomin’s base salary is $25,000 per month. Winning tournaments results in a $100,000 bonus as well as a chance to receive up to $14,000 in bonuses. A Yokozuna can expect to earn $25,000 per month as a base salary, according to the YUKUS. Wrestling victories in tournaments that can be worth $100,000 or cash stuffed envelopes for outstanding performances can also be worth $100,000. After retirement, a sumo professional can expect to earn up to $1 million per year.

Every women that marries a sumo has to question themselves on the pascal wager.  This or that

Being fat has a higher risk associated with fat related diseases.  Heart, diabetes ect ect.

If she's in it for the money, she better outlive him.  Sleeping next to a giant sumo guy is also a risk and dangerous to your health.  Sex?  I'm not even gonna go there  :2funny:

TIL that Japanese Sumo wrestlers life expectancy is between 60-65 years old or about 20 years less than the typical Japanese male.
