Why are celebs begging for money?

Remember Oprah and the Rock begging for money to help Hawaii... They have enough money between them to build up Hawaii.

Now, Alyssa Milano is begging online (GoFundMe) for money to support her son's baseball team - goal is $10G.

I'm not complaining about giving... People should give and I give plenty. Salvation Army, United Way, etc etc

I'm complaining about these wealthy celebs begging for funds from average Joes/Janes to help their place or family...

e.g.
Oprah and Rock made a vid asking viewers to donate money to help the disaster in Hawaii...
Rock ~ $800m net worth
Oprah ~ $3b net worth

Milano set up GoFundMe to raise funds for her son's baseball team - trying to raise $10G
Milano and her husband's net worth is close to $20m.
