Those are actually pretty popular lakes.  They are not dirty lake because they don't allow you to swim in it but rather they don't allow body contact with the water.  The water is for drinking.  It make no sense to me since they allow boats on the water but don't allow body contact.  I would think gas/oil from boats are worst than someone touching the water.......

been to one in san diego for fishing before...i don't they they allow boating on there...i swear...only saw the dnr in an electric boat...hm...th inking...

they do in the ones i mentioned ... wouldnt make sense for them to be giving out boat rentals... and people launching theirs all the time
