Here are some of my fishing adventures

One ugly azz Dogfish aka Bowfin well over 30 inches. Didn't put up a good fight. I know some of yall think it's trash fishing. I do too but couldn't resist not taking a picture of this beast.  Caught this in Chisago Lake, MN with an Xcalibur xr75 Rattle bait.

My cousin holding my bowfin upright for a body pic. We poked his azz on the side with a gaff hook to bring it in cause neither me or my cousin was gonna touch that thing to bring it in the boat lol.

My cousin holding up a nice Large mouth off the same lake "Chisago Lake". Xcalibur xr75 Rattle Baits are a hot item and still is til this day.  Had to grab a whole stash at Cabellas after this trip was over.

Here is me with a pretty decent eatable size Smallmouth caught off the St. Croix MN side /w a Storm Silver Minnow lure

My cousin's 10 lb (9.8 to be exact) Northern off the Centervill Dam off Highway 14. He fished out momma and pappa bear (2 Northerns) in the zone thus ended our fishing venture when no more game fish was biting. The 2nd Northern wasn't worth a picture probably was 3-4lbs. I am tellin you PH'rs Xcalibur's XR XXX lipless crank baits are my new hot lures for the season.

Where did you catch that? What lure?

Me and a bunch of friends are planning for a charter fishing trip in Lake Superior for Lake trout. That's a nice catch Addison ^^

Thanks  O0

I'm from Sheboygan, WI right on the west side of Lake Michigan. Here we usually cast spoons (i.e. Kastmasters), or set live bait fish off the bottom (alewife). There's plenty of charter boats here as well but when the action is hot off the piers the charter boats are close to us shore fishermen.

You and your friends should think about giving pier fishing a shot, its much more rewarding knowing you can catch bigger fish than the charter boats and saving hundreds of dollars.
