It's a leadisite. When not attached to fish, its usually found around rocks and snags. If you get bit by them, you could potentially get lead poison.

Fished another Kettle Moraine Bass Anglers (KMBA) Club evening bass tourny again on Big Elkhart Lake yesterday from 5:30pm til 8pm.. It started off with a brutal 20+mph north wind. Needless to say the first spot we targeted we got a nice keeper smallie right away drop shoting in 15fow. Second keeper smallie came on the drop shot in 18fow. Third keeper was a largemouth caught punching the weeds on a beaver tail. The rest were dinks and we missed a few at the boat as well. It was a great way to end the season.

Weighed in with 3.68lbs (biggest two fish). Winning bag was 4.70lbs (2 fish). Didn't place but it was a great feeling to put more than two legal fish in the boat. The bass fishing should get better from here on out.

Best time of the year, fall. Hunting and fishing at its best, but so little time.   O0

Honestly we knew the musky were active and plentiful in this lake but weren't really targeting any specific fish. It was the only fish we caught but made it worth waiting for.

Wingra is an overlooked bass fishery and a great musky lake. I've seen some 50+ inch musky swim through there during the spring. Just amazing.

Any other good spots in Madison to fish? I've fishing the Tenny Park, the bay, UW point, and Wingra.
