well, you posted up the pix.

You know, ST, that fish was a big drag...took so long to get it out to the net. I had to go into the water to bend down to reach it with the net. I'm glad I got a pretty nice pole this year.

Have you ever fished steelheads before?

All spawned out though. They have some big heads but they're all skinny. Give em a month until the bluegill spawn, then they'll be nice and fat.

Roc, where you fishing?  Looks like a resident and friend only lake?

It does look like san diego doesn't it? It's in my hometown. All those little palm trees and stuff. It's actually near the beach, supposed to be resident only but we're allowed to fish this side of the lake. Artificials only, barbless hooks, Catch and Release. There are monsters in there, look to be all Florida strain bass.

It's actually a few miles out, near Goleta beach if you remember going there. No there's no pond by our place.
