Best the Thai government can do is don't just gave us 30 day visa-free stays, how about a 6 month to a year? Most Americans w/o money can't stay that long anyways. But for those like me, I'm at my burned out stage in my career. Having a place to spend some money and observe the Kingdom would be nice. instead of having to worry about visa extensions and penalties.

Because of the alternate last names, ie.. Yang and Young... See If I was a Yang and come across a smoking hot Young, I would definitely say it's fair game too.lol

I think it's best to practice like Thai and Viet people, as long as they're not related it's all fair game. Besides, although we may have the same last names, but our mother's has different last names so it's rather save to procreate a new clan. Of course, that's what logic would suggest but based on evolution/science. But everyone is entitle to their own opinion.

General Discussion / Re: Have you reached your full potential?
« on: October 21, 2019, 06:31:31 PM »
1. Have you reached your full potential?
2. Are you the person that you wished to be?
3. How has life shaped you into or not into the best person that you could be?

Answers...

1. Money wise. Yes, I don't think I can top my current level. I'm sure I will fall off the highest point of the roller coaster, from their on, there will only be lower points. Reason, I may get bounce around like a prostitute after resigning and may not be able to put much in my piggy bank.

2. No. Hopes and dreams can't be accomplished just by yourself. I'm sure we all need a partner to define us, not how we make ourselves to be.

3. Had always wanted to be like an inventor and tinker like Doc, from the movie, Back to the Future. But being poor and not having the right mentors in life greatly limited my own development. As for best person, I don't know about that but let people find out themselves.

General Discussion / Re: This is Trump's latest claims..

Disgraceful and shameful. Now our troops are getting potatoes thrown at them because of Trumps' "Me 1st" agenda. Has nothing to do with "Make America Great Again!..." It's more like, "Let's make everyone else hate the USA..."

Thanks! I think I will stick to the dumb idea of, "I don't know how to ride a bike..." line.

General Discussion / Re: America has a habit of abandoning their allies
« on: October 15, 2019, 06:45:53 PM »
It's disgraceful and shameful. Should have learnt from the past that allies should not be abandoned for short term benefits. By doing so, America has opened many doors to extremist recruitment. Just think of the many children or parents who's family are destroyed from this full scale assault from the Turks. We're not winning any hearts and minds but are actually cultivating more of people whom wants vengeance against us.

Just what do you do? I can use some OT but they can't afford me. Yes. I'm in need of hard cash, about $300k... Where can I make that in 2 months time? I feel like I need to work hard now and retired next year.

Like his songs. Whatever he had going on, hope he remains loyal to his family. Can not remain here indefinitely, the family likes to have money but it's more important to receive love.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a splinter group that actually tries to overthrow the state. Hopefully, there's plenty of sanity among people to stop themselves from carrying out such acts.

I say phuck them. It has nothing to do with education. Year after year they ask for more money but a lot of it gets spent on sports facilities and sports programs. Does nothing for academia and learning...

Work Avenue / Re: Resignation, why the please accept my resignation?...

Thanks guys. It isn't a difficult decision to make since I'd put up with the company long enough. I just hope that they'll honor my leaving and do not bother me once I'd left. I've seem them calling back former coworkers to comeback and explain their work to new comers. I find that ridiculous!

Only those whom think they are so better off can look down on others whom are still living with their parents. Price of living independently is just to damn high. If you can save $20-60k/yr living alone
and can bring home a different a guy/girl every night to your place then more power to you. I rather stayed in the basement saving what little money I can afford to stash away.
