Daughter in Spain.  She is having a good time.  She is adjusting very well there.  Today she is currently in Paris.  European do not have holidays or school breaks like here.  She told me she has a short fall break in October.  She already got plane ticket to Netherlands to stayed with the Dutch family.  It is also her birthday in October.  The mother has text me to see how they should celebrated her special day there for memories.

I see my husband been watching too much YouTube of it.  I told him we'll go to SF and find a restaurant that does it.

I went the 1st and the last 3 days.  The 1st day is the best day.  It ended with Hands Band singing live on stage 4/5 songs.  I didn't go to any of his concert or the free one.  It was a blast just seeing how good he was on stage that day.  People can go up to the front near the stage.  He gave out free t-shirts, cds and concert tickets.  I didn't get any picture of myself.  Its only my daughter on the 1st and last day.

Automotive Discussion / Car battery... Which brand is better and where to buy?

I need a new car battery.  My 9 yo drained the car battery one weekend starting Friday evening after coming home from the park.  Like 8/9 pm and didnt shut the passenger door.  We didnt go anywhere but Saturday late like 9/10pm I went to start the other car to go grocery shopping at Walmart and noticed the door on my Highlander wasn't shut.  I closed it but Monday morning when I took my daughter to school the car won't start so I had one of my neighbor cable jump it.  Yesterday I picked my kids from school we was stranded but walked to our good old neighbor for help.  This morning I couldn't start the car to drop my kids off at school.  Today is their last day of school and look like I might have to walk to picked them up. 

I did a few shopping prior to being stranded and each time I put the key into the ignition to start I can tell it feel weak each time like it will give out or something.

My husband told me the battery won't be good once it is jump.  The car is only 6 years old and has 63k mileage on it.  I believed the battery is still good if my kids didnt do what they did and if someone went into the garage and noticed it early vs almost 24+ hrs later. 

My choice is either Costco or Big O Tires.

Why do I get a feeling they look like cr-v but also like the Acura MDX.  I'm waiting for the released of 2016 Odessey but I'm going to check out the Pilot this weekend. I personally do not want a van as the next car but another suv is still going to give us the same problem with kids.

They pissed me off as being a good company or top tire brand.  My Highlander I went ahead to get new tires because of vacation and road trip next week.  My oem has 47k which can probably put in another 3-5k but decide no matter what new tires are needed.  Beside if I don't do it now I won't have money later.  I had 1k left from my 3k budget that didn't go as planned for what I was going to do. 

I search online everywhere for Michelin latitude tour but keep getting that the size for my car is going to have owl and not blackball.  The shop told me they can turn the owl side inside. 

At the end I went with Goodyear assurance fuel max with price match from tire rack.  In CA it wasn't necessary for Goodyear triple trend or Michelin latitude tour hp.  I didn't get the fuel max thinking I'm going to save fuel on my car.  I got it for the look/design.  Actually the Michelin tire look ugly and small letter but I was going for it because of top reviews and a better choice. 

The tire date made was end of the year in 2013 with one date in the middle of 2014. 

With our other cars we just went with the cheapest brand as long as its all season tire and they performed and lasted well.  I guess personally it how you take care of your car, watch out for the road, etc.  I can tell my Corolla S with almost 240k drive smoother and better than my Highlander with cheap radical m+s tire.  I was never aware of m+s the first time because I always purchased what I like within a budget my husband give me.....  I told my husband it should be you with a little tire knowledge but I end up reading reviews, searching and understanding tire.

Why didn't I watch it when it first came out.  Now, I'm addicted to that show.  I could watch a good show at 10pm because that the only time when my husband and kids are in bed so it allowed me some time to relaxed.
