I have to agree that LBJ's post game is weak but as you can see dude is trying to incorporate that into his game.  just like how kobe and jordan did.  Eventually he will be able to but i guess for right now he isn't there yet.

dude there is no way James is playing side kick.

Like i said, James is like Magic and Jordan mixed.  The ball goes through him and he creates plays for everyone and set every one up.

James can take over the game any time he wants it's just that he is not that of a selfish player.

Ariza to Kobe is like Pippen to Jordan.

Let me ask you this question.  Which player opponents fear most for the Heats big three?

Wade 30 pts 7 rebs 4 asts 3 stls 2 blks

James 16 pts 6 rebs 7 asts 2 stls 2 blks

So far he's Wade's Pippen :)

you still don't get it don't you?   ;D

You know why i think Heats going to be tough this season?  Cuz they got two guys that can carry the team.  If one guy is not hot one night, the other guy is going to be on fire.

that's how it has been so far with the two games so far.  So your pippen statement is not valid.   ;D

lol you don't get what i'm trying to say huh?

I'll explain it to you.  The Dream team consisted of almost all of hall of famers.  Jordan had to go against a lot of hall of famers then.  that's what i'm talking about and those Hall of famers were in their prime too.

Jordan was the reason why not a lot of those Hall of famers didn't get their ring.

The USA teams now won't beat the dream team.

bottom line, Jordan said he probably could put up 100 pts per game playing these days.   ;D

Dream Team in their prime? LoL u really don't know your basketball. Magic and Bird were drafted in 79 and in 92 Magic was 33 and Bird 36 while Jordan was 29. Jordan didn't win until 90 and Magic retired in 91. David Robinson Rookie of the Year in 90, Chriatian Laettner college kid. So yea I don't get why u brought in the Dream Team. Go create a thread about which Dream Team was better lol. These days the USA team isn't the Dream Team cuz they don't just pick the best players. The best players don't want to train year round for international basketball and NBA especially when they have injuries and surgeries to recover from. Grant Hill and them young cats were on the team that practiced with the original Dream Team and they beat the Dream Team. Magic and Bird were reasons why Jordan didn't get more rings, since Jordan was drafted in 84.

10 years ago nobody thought we see Kobe win a championship at the beginning of the decade. Now that decade is over and look who won again.

It's valid cuz u for some reason think Pippen is a bad player. U think Pippen couldn't score? Idk but u just don't understand. James is to Wade as Pippen was to Jordan. Jordan and Wade have all the moves. Pippen and James are the bigger, versatile point forward with no go to moves that differ to Jordan/Wade. Pippen made life easier for Jordan. But it's pointless debating with u cuz for 3 years going on 4 u been telling me  is the best and he's gonna win the championship while I been saying no he won't :) so appearantly u can't distinguish fact from personal opinion.

Again there is nothing wrong with James playing second fiddle. He doesn't have the mind set to be first option. When he wants to score he only thinks of scoring, when he's passive he only wants to pass. Wade is more of a first option since he can set up others while he's attacking. First 2 games James with 17 turnovers already.

This is how people were when I said KG was never a first option and look at him. KG and LeBron always have and always think about the team first. Pippen, KG, and LeBron are all crazy talented and can win games here there but their true strengths come when they don't have the spotlight on them.

i never said Pippen was a bad player.

i just said LBJ will never play Pippen's role.

Pippen and Jordan, who do you think players was scared of the most?  Jordan

Between Wade and LBJ, players team and coaches are probably more scared of him a lil more than Wade.

Why?

cuz he can score at will
he has one of the best visions on the court
best passer
on top of that he can create open shots for other players
and dude will run down and block

He is a different leader, he understands that he isn't the only player on the team that is capable of carrying the team.

he can turn the switch on and off same as wade.

i think wade and lbj will make some sacrifices to win games.   One night one will be batman and one will be Robin.  That's the luxury the Heats have.

i brought the dream team into the conversation because you have to look at the guys that kobe and jordan had to go through.  the competition.

Anyways you're kind of biased bout Kobe so you will think Kobe is better than every player.   ;D

Yeah some will say Kobe is in the same class as Jordan but majority of them will say Jordan is still better than kobe.

like jordan says, if he was to play the game now days he could get 100 pts.  that says a lot who is better.

So what happen to King James against the Celtics? what Happen with with Wade in their last win :) the good analyst and writers have already said LeBron's gonna be teamed up with the GO TO guy in Wade. James has been in the league for 6 years now and if u haven't picked up on what everyone else then so be it. but he is to Wade like Pippen was to Jordan.

as for turning the switch on and off....well they both were in the NBA Finals. one turned it on and one couldn't. one was quoted as playing Jordan like and that wasn't James.

back to the Pippen and Jordan. people were scared of both that's why one was named Batman and the other Superman. as in they both needed eachother. one was the raw physical talent and the other was the smart and cunning one.

ok ok i guess ur right.... James won't be Pippen

"Pippen is remembered as one of the most versatile and agile players, and perhaps most notably as one of the greatest defenders, to ever play the game of basketball. Much like fellow Bull Michael Jordan, Pippen could provide tenacious on-the-ball perimeter defense, or tough interior defense, and he was particularly effective as a help defender. He was gifted with extraordinary athleticism, even compared with other professional athletes, and skills in areas that bode well for basketball.

Pippen's unusually long arms and jumping agility gave him the ability to clog the passing lanes on defense, to block shots from behind on players that had managed to pass by him, to grab out-of-reach rebounds, to make unusual plays in mid-air, and to make passes around defenders that most players are physically unable to make. He often led the Bulls in assists and blocks as a result. Pippen was also a selfless player. His team-focused approach to the game was a key component in the Chicago Bulls’ championships. Pippen’s career assists total of 6,135 (5.2 per game) is a testament to that approach. It is the record among forwards and was 23rd all-time among all players when he retired (now 26th).

His intensive work ethic and athletic physique gave him the ability to consistently make highlight-reel plays, such as applying defensive intensity, forcing a turnover, stealing the ball and starting a one-man fast break that he would finish with a thunderous slam dunk at the other end of the court. As Pippen himself has attested, he and Jordan would compete to see who could force more turnovers and produce more offense from defense in each game (fast break points). During the 1990 Slam Dunk Contest, Scottie exhibited his leaping ability with a dunk from the free throw line. He was an athletic finisher at the rim, both with dunks and with a skillful finger roll shot that he added to his skill set over time. He was also a prolific perimeter shooter, taking about three thousand and making almost one thousand three-point shots in his career."

defense wins the game and Kobe is a All-Defensive first team :) and they have Artest, the best defensive player in the game.

fo sho LBJ is like a mix of magic and mj.

i did say that going one on one kobe has a lil edge over james.

because LBJ is a mix of both mj and jordan that does not necessary means that he is going to be better than Kobe on one on one.

but lets stick to just Jordan and Kobe.

i guess some people think Kobe is better than Jordan vice versa.

to me Kobe is a great player but Jordan has the edge over him.

Bigger doesn't mean anything when the bigger player lacks a post up game. Pay attention enough if you will see how they talk about LeBron working on his post up game or lack of post up game.

Kobe all day

And Fox! This goes out to u since u so biased :)

Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six titles. And while he had Scottie Pippen, there is little question the Bulls were Jordan's team.

 Jordan's View Of LeBron
Michael Jordan raises a bigger issue in criticism of LeBron James and Miami's trio, writes TrueHoop's Henry Abbott. Story

So what does Jordan, one of the best ever in the NBA, think of LeBron James joining with All-Stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to form a super team in Miami?

"There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry [Bird], called up Magic [Johnson] and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team,'" Jordan said after playing in a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada. The interview aired on the NBC telecast of the event. "But that's ... things are different. I can't say that's a bad thing. It's an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys."

James, who played his first seven seasons with his home state Cleveland Cavaliers, was part of one of the most celebrated free-agent classes in history this summer. He met with the Cavs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets.

Jordan said he wanted to beat them.

James let the world know he was taking his talents to South Beach in an hour-long TV special July 8 on ESPN.

TNT analyst Charles Barkley said James' decision might change his legacy.

"He'll never be Jordan," Barkley told 790 The Ticket in Miami earlier in the week. "This clearly takes him out of the conversation. He can win as much as he wants to.

"There would have been something honorable about staying in Cleveland and trying to win it as 'The Man' ... LeBron, if he would've in Cleveland, and if he could've got a championship there, it would have been over the top for his legacy, just one in Cleveland. No matter how many he wins in Miami, it clearly is Dwyane Wade's team."

Shiat i would never stay in Cleveland too if i was LBJ.  I don't think any of the members of the cavs will be a hall of famer except for LBJ.

Jordan, Magic, and Larry bird, they all had hall of famers played along with them.  If James had a hall of famer team mates with him shiat i know he would have just stayed.

not biased lol just thinks that LBJ is in its own class.   ;D
