I think people are getting caught more and more, so less people are uploading and downloading now. It's safer to just rent/buy/stream the mv.

A friend was doing it through BitTorrent, but was warned 2x by Cox, so he quit that.

That's why you don't use torrent programs.  You just need to find a site that let's you download from  hosting site and then used a download managers to que and download it...

Only used Torrents as a last resort..haha.. .that's my personal preferences though.....

+1 for usenet with 10 SSL (max at 60 but never went beyond 10) concurrent connection .. i am only after 1080p rips .. will settle for 720p

It's not just Comcast that monitors internet usage. Charter, and TWC also does it as well. I've received warnings before from Charter. Whatever you are doing right now that works you probably shouldn't post it on here because I'm sure words will get out and that's where the government will go next. Shhhh! Don't tell your method; only those that gets you caught because that can help others!

usenet is very old compare to the p2p apps you see now a days.  The learning curve is a little steeper so until usenet becomes easy to use; it will still be there.  Who knows ... one goes down another thing will pop up.  Torrent is getting hit kinda hard but the old fashion usenet and pubs are still alive.
